Kiss me, I’m Irish! Today is St. Patrick’s Day and everyone celebrates getting in touch with their inner Irishman – whether imaginary or real. We celebrate the fun and jovial part of who we are.
We can all celebrate who we are. I don’t mean the sign on your office door (if you have one). Who you are is not your job title, it is the person you bring to everything you do – the humour, creativity, heart and soul. We bring our strengths and weaknesses. Celebrate all the good of who you are. There is a place for you in this world. We need you!
If there’s something about you that you don’t like, take the initiative to make a change. We all grow through our lives, so we can as my friend Julie says, “Live your life by design not by default”. A powerful way to do that of course, is to focus on the positive aspects of who you are. The more you celebrate the positive, the less you will feel the negative impacting your life and the lives of those around you.
Cheers to you!
