The scout motto, "Be prepared" means we need to be aware of history to be ready for what is to come. I've learned that winter can linger longer than I like.
Often we get one or two wicked snow days before winter is completely over.
It is mid-April. Winter should be done, but it dropped in over-night to remind us it can if it wants to. I'm so glad we still have snow tires on!
The bus kids are loving the day off school, I'm sure.
Me? I will be careful out there, because I know a lot of people have taken their snow tires off, and it's probably pretty slick and icy underneath that snow.
Not always prepared, but glad when I am!
Have a safe and prepared day!
